Front Desk Agent – Holiday Inn Kalamazoo West
$14.50–$15.00/hr | Shifts: 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, 11pm–7am

Holiday Inn & Suites Kalamazoo West is seeking reliable, service-driven individuals to join our Front Desk team. We are urgently hiring for evening and overnight shifts, and are looking for candidates with strong availability and a commitment to consistency.

What You’ll Do

Every day brings something new, but your core responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests with a warm, professional demeanor
• Handling reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently
• Processing payments and ensuring accurate billing
• Assisting guests with questions, concerns, and local recommendations
• Anticipating guest needs and resolving issues proactively
• Serving as a primary point of contact for guest support and information

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to problem-solve and remain calm under pressure
• Comfortable with computers, basic math, and multitasking
• High level of reliability, punctuality, and accountability
• Ability to work independently during evening and overnight shifts
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred (not required)
• Knowledge of Kalamazoo and surrounding areas is a plus

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Familiarity with Google Workspace
• Open or near-open availability strongly preferred
• Must be able to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this role

Pay & Benefits

Hourly rate: $14.50–$15.00 (based on experience)

Full-time employees (36+ hours/week) after 90 days are eligible for:
