Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and bushes
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping activities
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
• Use equipment like excavators and snow plows when necessary for site preparation or seasonal cleanup
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution to meet deadlines efficiently

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment is advantageous
• Basic understanding of horticulture principles, lawn care practices, and landscape maintenance techniques
• Experience with tree care activities such as trimming and pruning is a plus
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Knowledge of construction or hardscape installation processes is beneficial but not mandatory
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills
