Job Summary

We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Mobil Gas Station located on 298 Titusville Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. Your leadership will be key to creating a positive work environment and achieving store goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and staff management.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
• Oversee inventory management and stock replenishment processes.
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy at the cash register.
• Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and increase store traffic.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and guide team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
