Overview:

SUMMARY:

Maintain standards of excellence throughout the Casino which includes cleaning of all public areas inside the casino and outside throughout the property.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sweep, vacuum, wash and clean all debris from floor, vacuum Front Entrance/Bellman Area.
• Pick up loose trash in all areas and dispose of it to central receptacle.
• Signing in and out for keys and equipment on daily basis.
• Practice positive customer relations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested
• Duties will include outside trash pickup and Garage trash pickup.
• Must be able to work in any weather conditions.
• Blow off front entrance and pick up trash in parking areas
• Keep all outside guest area free of trash and debris.
• Power Wash Front Entrance Area, Riverwalk, and building walls and windows.
• Complete all job duties and extra tasks that are assigned to the Maintenance Laborer.

• Inside and outside, humid, changing temperature
• Marble floors; carpet
• Moderate to loud noise
• Working with others and sometimes alone.
• Exposure to height, heavy machinery, cleaning chemicals and paper/dust particles.
• Use of mops, vacuums, shampooers, buffers, ladders, hampers, walk behind machines, chemicals, pen/pencil, paper and radio, trash bins, carts.

• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
• Knowledge and use of basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English.
• Must be able to communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors and understand procedures.
• Mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
• Able to use various equipment
• Lifting and/or pulling 75lbs or more.
• Able to work with various chemicals and cleaning equipment.
