Duties

  • Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach
  • Maintain accurate reservation records, room assignments, and billing information
  • Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure data accuracy
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs promptly
  • Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person
  • Support guest relations efforts by ensuring personalized service that exceeds expectations
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk area that reflects the resort’s hospitality standards

Experience

  • Previous experience front desk operations preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
  • Experience with night audit procedures or resort operations is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction techniques
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and grace
