Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Change bed linens, replenish towels, and stock necessary supplies in guest rooms.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors, ensuring they are sanitized and well-presented.
  • Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed to ensure an adequate supply of clean linens.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred; experience in hospitality settings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
  • Physical stamina is required; must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
