Duties

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene
  • Care for flooring through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure a spotless appearance
  • Handle janitorial tasks efficiently using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies for industrial cleaning needs
  • Follow established protocols for custodial maintenance to prevent hazards and ensure safety standards are met
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution
  • Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper storage

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and customer service principles is a plus
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift heavy items, and stand for extended periods
  • Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
