Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as well as the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a seamless check-in experience.
  • Manage guest reservations, including modifications and cancellations, while ensuring accuracy in the system.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas are well-maintained.
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist with administrative tasks at the front desk, including managing phone calls and emails.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel or hospitality management is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
  • Proficiency in front desk operations or familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
