The Goshen County Clerk’s Office is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team. This position supports the Clerk in providing efficient, friendly customer service while ensuring statutory compliance across all department functions. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and committed to serving the public with professionalism and accuracy.

The Clerk’s Office plays a vital role in county operations, including recording official documents, administering elections, issuing licenses and titles, and maintaining public records.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and issue vehicle titles, file liens, and assist with title transfers.
- Support election operations including voter registration, ballot preparation, and election day coordination.
- Assist with recording and maintaining legal documents, deeds, and official county records.
- Issue marriage licenses, catering permits, and malt beverage permits.
- Provide courteous and knowledgeable customer service to the public in person, by phone, and by email.
- Perform data entry, record verification, and general clerical duties with a high degree of accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
- Support other staff and departments as needed to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or administrative experience preferred. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively with the public and maintain a positive, professional demeanor. • Proficiency with computers, databases, and Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to learn and apply Wyoming statutes, policies, and procedures related to county clerk functions. • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
