Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or industrial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle janitorial duties including waste disposal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment
• Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance and minor repairs as needed
• Support portering duties by moving furniture, equipment, or supplies within the premises
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and hallways
• Follow safety procedures during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a secure environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Experience with residential painting or minor repair work is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
