The Malibu Beach Inn, A luxury boutique Hotel in Malibu is seeking a beach crew member.

A Beach server provides exceptional and personal customer service and conveys a positive, enthusiastic attitude and must be able to multi-task while working.

Overview

The Beach Crew attendant you will be responsible for the daily servicing of the beach area to ensure quality service to the members and guests. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques.
• Overseeing the Member and Guest arrival and departure experience
• Completing the daily set up, and break down, of all chairs and umbrellas
• Providing chair side service and amenities
• Ensuring the daily cleanliness of the beach areas

Requirements

• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be in good health and able to endure extended periods of standing and bending
• Extremely tolerant of working in heat and direct sun
• Be able to work independently
• Possess a positive attitude and be able to deliver exceptional service
• Present a well-groomed, polished, and friendly appearance
• Be flexible and able to work split shifts that will include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Must be able to read, speak & write in English
• Must be able to lift, push, pull & carry 30lbs
