Join our amazing TEAM here at the New Britain Inn ! Looking for Sous Chef to assist the Chef in overseeing a busy family owned (46 yrs) Gastro Pub. Help w daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and quality with all food. Must be a TOP NOTCH cook yourself on all stations of the line & help keep the line moving in a timely fashion in all food preparation. Must be a Leader and be able to run Kitchen Staff when Chef is off. Help to manage inventory and assist with ordering. Maintain food safety and direct kitchen staff in keeping kitchen clean. We are a great place to work ! Most of our Staff have been w us for 5-10 years. BONUS: we give out at least 4 Bonuses each year for Christmas & hard work gratitude !

Qualifications:

-Proven experience as a Sous Chef or someone who is ready to take that Leadership role because they have the experience (Head Line Cook, Culinary school, etc) to do so.

-Strong knowledge of cooking techniques

-Ability to work in fast paced environment while maintaining great food standards

-Strong Passion for the food & restaurant industry

-2+ yrs as Head Line Cook, Sous Chef or Culinary Supervisior in high volume establishment
