Position Overview
The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests, providing warm hospitality and efficient service during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay. This role is part-time and ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and delivers excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Services
- Welcome guests warmly and provide efficient check-in/check-out services.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests with professionalism.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Front Desk Operations
- Answer incoming calls, while multitasking other duties.
- Process payments, issue room keys, and maintain accurate guest records.
- Balance cash drawer and perform basic end-of-shift reports.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams as needed.
- Customer Care & Problem Resolution
- Address and resolve guest complaints or escalate issues to management.
- Ensure lobby and front desk area remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Previous front desk, hotel, or customer service experience required**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
