As a Night Auditor, you will:
- Be Accountable – Ensure all aspects of the hotel’s daily financial transactions are reviewed, balanced, and accurately recorded in a timely manner. Your work provides essential insights for management and sets the foundation for the day ahead.
- Deliver Exceptional Guest Service – Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and requests throughout the overnight hours, providing a welcoming and professional experience at all times.
- Ensure Accuracy – Review reports, reconcile accounts, and investigate any discrepancies to maintain the integrity of hotel records.
- Be Reliable – Maintain a consistent overnight presence, ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the property.
- Communicate Effectively – Document and report any issues, guest concerns, or operational updates for the incoming daytime team.
- Schedule & Work Environment-This is an overnight position with a consistent, set schedule, providing stability and predictability for your routine. The quieter pace of overnight hours allows for focused, independent work while still delivering meaningful guest service.
Job Requirements
This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Previous experience in a hotel or related field is preferred. An accounting background is a plus, but not required; however, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
Candidates must be comfortable handling cash and credit transactions and demonstrate strong computer skills, including the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
This position involves light physical work, including exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently, with regular lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of objects. At times, you may be required to assist guests with luggage, which may involve lifting up to 50 pounds.
