Full job description

The La Quinta Inn & Suites in Kodak, Tennessee is looking for a front desk associate. This individual must have excellent customer service skills. A true desire to serve and take care of our guests. Hotel experience preferred but not required for the right individual. We need a team member who can add to our team and make us even better. This position will be a mix of shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
  • Maintain front desk records
  • Respond efficiently to guest complaints and provide service recovery for ultimate guest satisfaction
  • Support and comply with all hotel policies and procedures
  • Enhance guest experience on a daily basis.
  • Perform guest registration and room assignment and accommodate special requests of all customers.
  • Answer the phones according to the standards of proper etiquette and as fast as possible.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the front desk and back office area at all times.
  • Assist all guests with area information and any other queries as required. Ensure that all guest problems are resolved.
  • Communicate and Assist fellow associates in their jobs to ensure that all jobs are done on time.
  • Be familiar with the AM, PM and Night Audit shift daily checklists to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain safety by adhering to safety policies.
  • Have knowledge about guest rooms, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by the hotel.
  • Know all frequent customers and be familiar with their special requests. Ensure that their needs are met.
  • Experience as a front desk associate and experience with SynXis a plus

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent
