Room Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replace used towels and amenities.
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean windows, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Replenish guest room supplies, minibar items, and amenities as required.
  • Ensure all items in the room are in good condition and report any maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional items or services.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling guest property, lost and found items, and security protocols.
  • Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any incidents, damages, or irregularities to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining public areas and corridors as required.
  • Uphold professional appearance, grooming, and SO/ brand service standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a room attendant or housekeeping staff in luxury hotels or resorts preferred.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and service quality.
  • Ability to follow procedures and complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical condition and stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal and guest service skills.
  • Professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and alignment with SO/ brand identity.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
