About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the building to ensure safe and comfortable surroundings for staff and students and for all grounds and athletic fields as needed. For more information, please see the job description for this position.

Start date: Immediate Start
Contract: 260-261 days
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

  • OT as needed for snow removal and events

FTE: 1.0 (40 hours per week)

Salary & Benefits

Starting Rate: $18.73-$20.48 per hour

Requirements & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Valid MN driver’s license is required. Ability to pass physical requirements evaluation is also required. Previous experience working in maintenance or other related experience is preferred. Physical requirements are an essential function of this position and include the ability to lift and carry objects, pushing and pulling, crawling and kneeling, bending and twisting, climbing ladders, and similar physical activities. This position also involves extended periods of time on feet and repetitive motions in performing tasks. Will need to be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, occasionally lifting 100 pounds or more.
