Position Criteria:

• Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
• Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Performance Responsibilities

• Duties to be assigned by the Head Show Choir Director
• Assist director with managing rehearsals and providing feedback to student participants that encourages skill development within a positive atmosphere
• Assist with maintaining the costume and prop inventory
• Assist with organizing parent volunteers for a variety of jobs (costumes, make-up & hair, chaperones, publicity).
• Assist with design/ordering show choir costumes and music
• Attend and supervise 3-5 show and/or jazz invitational/festival performances yearly
• Assist with needs related to the Show Choir/Jazz Choir Invitational hosted by the high school
• Collaborate with the Head Music Director to coordinate securing supplemental staff (choreographers, arrangers, clinicians, etc.)
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the District
