Job Purpose:

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant and café environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations when required.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, following proper service standards.
  • Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained before, during, and after service.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or complaints.
  • Process bills and handle cash/card payments accurately.
  • Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
  • Support team members and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or café is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Presentable, professional grooming, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and order-taking procedures is preferred.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant or café.
