Full job description

Responsibilities:
– Help implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the classroom
– Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
– Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and other daily activities

– Follow a daily schedule which includes meal times, diapering, outdoor play, rest time, music/movement, small group play, large group play and reading
– Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
– Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns

Qualifications:
– Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices or willingness to learn
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning activities
