North American Medical Associates (NAMA) is a growing Multi-Specialty Medical Practice with a team of doctors and professionals devoted to patient care: diagnosing, managing, and treating chronic pain.
Core Job Responsibilities
Home health medical assistants are responsible for a mix of medical monitoring, personal care, and administrative support.
Clinical Monitoring:
Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
Monitor and document the patient’s physical and mental condition, reporting any significant changes to a supervising nurse or physician.
Collect routine specimens for lab testing, such as urine or blood.
Medical & Therapy Support:
Guide patients through prescribed physical therapy exercises and range-of-motion activities.
Domestic & Administrative Tasks:
Schedule medical appointments Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and document all services provided.
