Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of locker room facilities, including showers, restrooms, lockers, benches, and common areas.
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Maintain and replenish supplies like towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability at all times.
• Monitor the condition of flooring surfaces; perform buffing or floor care procedures to preserve their appearance and safety.
• Assist with custodial duties related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed to support facility operations.
• Support general facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues promptly for resolution.
• Uphold safety protocols during cleaning activities to prevent slips, trips, or other hazards in high-traffic locker room areas.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and floor polishing.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shift hours.
• Prior porter or maintenance experience is a plus; certification in custodial or facilities management is advantageous.
