Full job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper/Construction Laborer to support day-to-day operations across active construction sites and property grounds. This is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a jobsite clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position starts as a 40 hour-a-week, seasonal position, with strong potential to transition into a year-round role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• General construction site cleanup including debris removal, waste disposal, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment
• Groundskeeping duties include mowing, raking, edging, and seasonal maintenance
• Raking and spreading stone, gravel, and other materials as directed
• Sweeping interior and exterior surfaces including floors, walkways, driveways, and staging areas
• Pressure washing exterior surfaces, driveways, walkways, and equipment
• Interior and exterior painting including prep work, priming, and finish coats
• Measuring, fitting, and installing window blinds and treatments
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Assisting skilled tradespeople and crew leads as needed
• Operating basic hand tools and small power equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of completed and in-progress properties
• Following all jobsite safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong punctuality
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Prior construction or landscaping experience not required
