As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Develop master visual concepts in line with the internal creative brief and the campaigns’ objectives.
- Fulfil general design requests, art-working, supply of materials and day-to-day design needs.
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and provide graphic design support to various hotel departments.
- Design and produce marketing materials including, but not limited to, collateral, touchpoints, advertisements, brochures, signage and presentations.
- Monitor the progress of all projects, providing continuous status updates.
- Adhere to Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s brand guidelines in all design projects.
- Ensure that the corporate BCM manuals are kept up-to-date and implemented as appropriate.
- Supervise production of the hotel’s internal and external collaterals as per the brand’s standards.
- Source and maintain a list of reliable suppliers.
- Manage relationships with external printers and suppliers to ensure quality control at all times.
- Co-ordinate the display and removal of all promotional materials within the hotel premises
- Update and maintain databases of designs, photography, and video assets.
- Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures (SOPs, etc.).
- Assist departments to implement campaigns in accordance with the marketing plan.
- Maintain the inventory and ordering of collaterals and design kits.
- Support departments with photo or video shoots
- Respond to trade, media or other departments’ requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Be energetic, enthusiastic, resourceful, helpful and passionate to exceed expectations.
- Immaculately groomed and articulate with a highly professional appearance.
- Be resourceful to provide information or note down requests from other colleagues.

- Communicate internally and externally with concerned parties to determine layout designs and implementation procedures.
- Stay up to date with latest graphic design software and techniques to accordingly recommend tools that can be efficiently applied.
- Maintain project schedules and collaborate with the head of department with regard to project timing, scope and budget.
As a Graphic Designer, we expect from you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or any other design related education certification
- Solid knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and interactive media production.
- A solution-oriented, collaborative, proactive individual with strong communication skills
- A flexible and resilient approach with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced and demanding environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel, luxury retail, agency or marketing environment in a similar role.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design
- Previous working experience in the Middle East is an advantage
