Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseman/Laundry attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Change bed linens, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and sanitize bathrooms.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing according to hotel standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A commitment to hospitality and providing an exceptional guest experience.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
