About the Role
The Housekeeping House Attendant stocks linen rooms and storage areas with clean linens. Pick up and deliver guest request items. Gives assistance to Guestroom Attendants as required; keeps all guest corridors, elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean at all times. Interacts with guests making them feel welcomed, comfortable and well taken care of by handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality; accommodating any special requests.
What you will do
- Keeps all guest corridors and public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free.
- Keeps all service elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean by sweeping, mopping and dusting the areas. Removes all trash from areas.
- Moves racks of clean Rooms linen to Guest Room floors.
- Empties trash and dirty linen from guest room floors.
- Responds to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby.
- Can answer guest questions and direct them to the areas they desire to be in.
- Stocks Linen Storage Rooms and Armoires daily with supplies and amenities.
- Assists Housekeepers as required. Helps move beds and furniture, turns mattresses, removes or hangs sheers and drapes.
