Position Summary:

Cleans and prepares guest rooms by meeting established standards of cleanliness in order to maximize guest satisfaction.

Basic Duties/Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

–Cleans rooms utilizing the cleaning method as prescribed by Holiday Inn.

–Follows all required operating and safety procedures.

–Responsible for following all company key control procedures.

–Provides assistance to guests and colleagues as needed.

–Interacts with all guests and colleagues in a positive manner.

–Reports and delivers all lost and found items to Housekeeping Department office.

–Meets or exceeds production/quality standards as set by the company.

–May perform basic laundry and houseperson (both public area, laundry and floor) duties as needed to ensure the successful completion of hotel and departmental goals or requirements.

Skills Needed:

–Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push/pull, stand for extended periods of time. Be able to lift minimum of 35 pounds.

–Ability to understand, follow directions, and perform job functions with minimal supervision and in desired time frames.

Additional Requirements:

–Candidates must work flexible schedules and hours (including weekends, holidays and overtime)

–Must successfully complete background screenings

–Applicants must have legal permission to work in the United States.
