Part-Time Garden Helper – Michigan Animal Rescue League

The Michigan Animal Rescue League (MARL) is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to help maintain our outdoor garden spaces. This is a part-time, flexible opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and supporting a great cause.

Position: Garden Helper
Location: Michigan Animal Rescue League – Pontiac, MI
Hours: Approximately 4–5 hours every two weeks (flexible scheduling)
Pay: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Regular weeding of garden beds around the shelter
• Light garden maintenance and general upkeep
• Occasional seasonal tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to work independently and stay on task
• Reliable and respectful around shelter animals

This role is ideal for someone looking for minimal hours and a relaxed, outdoor job that supports the well-being of animals in our care.
