Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated In Home Furniture Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, delivering, and assembling furniture to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. The position involves the driver to drive a box truck and assemble furniture in a timely manner assisted by a helper who also team works to get the job done and done right, including loading and unloading truck.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload furniture as using dolly’s, straps, etc. some lifting will be required. Stairs may also be a part or delivery.
• Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Follow directions of warehouse help, including inventory loading and organization of delivery sequence.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a IN HOME Furniture Assembler is REQUIRED. ** Must be Drug Free and be able to pass random drug tests, you will be required to pass drug test before hiring*** NO Criminal Records***Background check required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
• Knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks is desirable; certification may be required.
