Duties
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring to support daily meal production
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools efficiently and safely
Experience
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting demonstrating strong food handling skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Culinary experience including meal preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and meal assembly
