Duties

• Assist machinists with maintenance and operation of CNC machines.
• Support fabrication tasks including welding, hand tool use, and assembly of components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
• Operate forklifts safely to transport raw materials, finished products, and tooling around the warehouse or shop floor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing practices by identifying inefficiencies or potential hazards.

Requirements

• Basic math skills necessary for measuring, calculating dimensions, and understanding technical drawings.
• Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in manufacturing processes including machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and basic shop equipment.
• Familiarity with CNC programming concepts or CAM programming is a plus.
• Certification or experience in MIG welding preferred; knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) advantageous.
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with forklift operation required; certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
