The award-winning Comfort Inn Ellsworth-Bar Harbor is seeking an energetic, team-oriented supervisor to lead our housekeeping department.

Summary

As an Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standards. Reporting to the General Manager, you will utilize your core skills in cleaning, laundry, and hotel experience to lead a team in delivering exceptional service. Your expertise in housekeeping management, along with relevant janitorial and custodial experience, will be vital in maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. Duties include:

• Planning weekly housekeeping schedule.
• Supervising housekeeping and laundry team members.
• Supporting the General Manager in hiring and training of housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Overseeing the cleaning process and ensuring that all rooms have been cleaned to the highest standards for the next guest through daily inspections and property walks.
• Participating in the cleaning of guest rooms and common areas, and with laundry when needed.
• Maintaining inventory of all department and guest supplies.
• Complying with safety, security and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and health department guidelines
• Communicating needs and observations to hotel manager and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
