Overview
Join our vibrant bridal shop team as a Backroom Assistant, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will keep our inventory organized and our operations running smoothly. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the backbone of our stock management, ensuring that every gown, accessory, and product is stored efficiently, accurately tracked, and ready for customer display. Your proactive attitude and organizational skills will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience for our brides-to-be and their families. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop retail and warehouse skills in a lively, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize, steam, and prepare bridal gowns and accessories for appointments
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the backroom, storage areas, and fitting rooms
- Inspect gowns for damage, loose threads, or missing details and report issues
- Manage incoming shipments, unpack deliveries, and update inventory records
- Prepare orders for pickup, shipment, or alterations
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and stock audits
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle delicate fabrics with care
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move garment bags, boxes, and racks as needed (lift up to 40lbs and be on your feet a majority of your 8 hour shift)
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
