OVERVIEW

The Sales Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the sales team, assisting with group sales, client communication, reporting, and marketing initiatives. This role works closely with hotel leadership and serves as a key point of coordination between sales, operations, and guests to ensure a positive sales experience and strong revenue performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support group and transient sales efforts by assisting with proposals, contracts, and client follow-ups
  • Coordinate sales activities including client meetings, site visits, and sales calendars
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports in sales systems and spreadsheets
  • Assist with tracking group pace, room blocks, and pickup reports
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market activity and share insights with leadership
  • Help prepare basic sales reports using STR data and internal reports (training provided)
  • Assist with marketing efforts such as updating promotional materials and online listings
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and hotel departments to ensure smooth communication
  • Respond to sales inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Perform general administrative support for the sales team as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-5 years of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients and internal teams
  • Willingness to learn hotel sales systems and reporting tools
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks
