The Peninsula Chicago is seeking an Overnight Officer to join our Security team and be an integral part of the hotel’s safety and guest-focused service.

• Work for a luxury Five-Star Five-Diamond property in the heart of Michigan avenue, Chicago.

Key Accountabilities:

• Serve as security ambassadors focusing on the safety and security of all guests, patrons, and associates as well as hotel assets.
• Officers will enforce all security procedures and hotel policies in an aggressive yet hospitable manner.
• Ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Security operations.
• Maintain a high level of visibility and professionalism while on duty.
• Respond accordingly to all fire alarms, bomb threats, elevator entrapments.
• Patrolling all areas of the hotel noting unusual circumstances or safety violations.
• Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience.

General Requirements:

• 2 years of Security experience in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to handle fast-paced, high energy, stressful environments.
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
• An excellent knowledge of the current computer applications being used.
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
• Strong command of written and spoken English both written and spoken.
