Full job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales person n to join our team. As the Sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and we are looking for a dynamic individual who can effectively communicate our value proposition and drive sales success.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively and effectively sell room nights through public relations, advertising, community engagement, sales blitzes, direct mail campaigns, and creative ideas
  • Analyze the strengths and challenges of all competitive hotels in the area
  • Develop and maintain sales / marketing plans and sales budget with Ownership and General Manager to ensure maximation of room revenue during low occupancy periods
  • Plan creative direct selling opportunities to maximize revenue and occupancy
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process

Skills and Requirements:

  • Brand experience with IHG, Choice Hotels and similar Hotel Franchise is highly preferred
  • Ability to develop an understanding company policies, procedures, and best practice in guest service
  • Strong ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent skills in the Microsoft Office Suite with a priority in Word and Excel required
  • Valid Driver’s License required
