Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms by making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a fresh and inviting atmosphere
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to uphold cleanliness standards across all areas
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and other essentials to meet guest needs promptly
- Ensure public spaces such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms are tidy, sanitized, and welcoming at all times
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or damages immediately
- Adhere to hotel policies on sanitation standards, security protocols, and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial work is a plus
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and general housekeeping practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving cleaning equipment comfortably
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality service in hospitality environments
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests as needed
- Familiarity with safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment management
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards in a fast-paced setting
