Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and freshness of our guests’ linens, towels, and clothing by expertly managing laundry operations. Your dedication will help maintain the high standards of comfort and hygiene that our guests expect and deserve.

Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment efficiently, including washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning machines such as dry cleaning units
• Sort, load, and unload laundry items with care to prevent damage or loss
• Ensure all linens, towels, and guest clothing are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and freshness
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency
• Stripping and de-trashing rooms as necessary to help facilitate housekeeping and business operations
• Follow proper procedures for stain removal, fabric care, and dry cleaning processes
• Track laundry inventory levels and communicate supply needs promptly
• Assist with general cleaning tasks around the laundry area to uphold hygiene standards

Experience

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, stain treatment
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene
• ability to fold and sort linen to hotel standards
