We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction in our hotel.

  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring service standards are consistently met
  • Train, motivate, and mentor housekeeping staff to deliver high-quality service
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, implementing solutions to enhance guest experience
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping services for special events or VIP guests
  • Implement and maintain safety and security procedures within the housekeeping department
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage of all shifts
  • Monitor and control department expenses to meet budget targets
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative housekeeping practices

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Outstanding time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and address guest needs
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in challenging situations
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is a plus
