The Oceanfront Inn is currently looking for reliable and enthusiastic housekeepers to join our Housekeeping team. The Oceanfront Inn is an Independent Hotel that believes in providing consistent and outstanding service to all our new and returning guests.

Job Summary
Housekeepers are responsible for the general cleanliness inside guest rooms and hotel public areas. Housekeepers are to meet all housekeeping guidelines & provisions, and report to the Housekeeping Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Report to scheduled shifts on time
  • Report to scheduled shifts in uniform
  • Adhere to all Hotel Attendance policies
  • Provide consistent and courteous stay over service
  • Strip both bed & bathroom linens from check out rooms
  • Clean all guest rooms accordingly and in a timely manner
  • Immediately notify the Housekeeping Manager of any damages to the hotel or hotel property in both the guest rooms and public areas
  • Adhere to all hotel procedures and regulation when handling chemicals and equipment
  • Use only the regulated cleaning supplies provided by the Housekeeping Department
  • Properly restock all hotel amenities on your designated housekeeping cart and inside guest rooms
  • Clear communication when communicating with other hotel departments
  • Report and return all Lost & Found items to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Keep a tidy and neat housekeeping cart and area
  • Provide excellent and professional customer service to all hotel guests
  • Follow up in a timely manner with all Guest concerns and requests
  • Provide support to overall housekeeping operations as directed by the Housekeeping Manager

Requirements

  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred
  • Experience working in hotels or similar hospitality settings is preferred
  • Team oriented
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
