Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various settings, including residential homes and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, providing a welcoming environment for guests and residents alike.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing rooms and common areas.
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including carpets, floors, windows, and furniture.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and personal items.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow established housekeeping protocols to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement efficient cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with residential cleaning practices or hotel housekeeping management is advantageous.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
