Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using Clover.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and culinary offerings.
• Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards during food preparation and service.

Requirements

• Weekend nights availability is mandatory
• 2+ years of previous experience in the food industry is mandatory.
• Previous ramen/Japanese restaurant experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Clover or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
