Service Stock Clerk|Cedar Rapids| HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Responsibilities:

Picks jobs from carousel and outside locations to fill customer orders. Operate industrial and/or hand trucks to move large or awkward parts. Boxes or bags small parts while seated. Picking and replenishing small parts from the carousel. * Ensures compliance with shipping orders and attaches identification labels containing information such as shipping destination, weight, and type of repair parts contained in carton.

Qualifications:

• Perform all assigned job function in a timely, accurate, and in accordance with the facility safety rules.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles, pallet jacks, and hand tools as needed.
• Clearly and tactfully communicate issues to in-house personnel.
• Lift objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Extend hands and arms to hold, grasp or turn objects.
• Work in conditions with occasional exposure to various temperature extremes.
• Operate a computer terminal.
• Move hand and foot in a coordinated manner in accordance with visual stimuli.
• Securely pack parts to prevent damage during handling.
• Accurately verify content of outgoing shipments.
• Gather, classify, record and report information about shipments and/or shipping contents.
• Follow work orders provided by supervisory personnel.
• Inventory items received and quickly assign store locations/destination of items.
  • Prepare items for shipment including attaching identifying information and shipping instructions.
  • Add, subtract, multiply and perform other mathematic operations necessary to document and record shipments sent.
