Our chiropractic office is seeking a Front Desk/Patient Care Coordinator.
The position is presently available, and in-office training starts immediately. This is a long term position, and we are looking for someone to join our team. Must be available to work all shifts. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities of the position include: patient account management, patient scheduling, office flow, filing, data entry, light cleaning duties, inventory management, answering phones, and accepting patient payments.
Requirements:
Expertise in running the front desk with outstanding customer service. Attention to detail and multi-tasking is a requirement.
Experience in patient account management, scheduling, answering phones, and proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualities and Abilities:
- Care and compassion for all patients.
- Respond efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquiries.
- Understand and be supportive of patient care plans to support their return to health.
- Resolve patient issues in accordance with company policies, regulations, and board standards.
- Manage patient scheduling and direct patient traffic flow.
- Organize and present financial arrangements to patients.
- Oversee the processing of medical records request.
- Manage specialist referral process, sending letters and reports.
- Write business/patient e-mails efficiently and clearly.
- Support marketing and promotion initiatives.
- Maintain patient data according to regulations and company policies
- Take responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the office.
- Maintain facilities and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
