Asset Preservation is hiring a Receptionist to manage front-desk operations and support day-to-day office flow. This role is client-facing, fast-moving, and especially critical during tax season. If you can juggle tasks, stay calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy helping people, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors with a professional, welcoming demeanor
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls
  • Manage calendars and schedule client appointments
  • Scan and process incoming client documents
  • Receive, distribute, and send outgoing mail
  • Maintain reception area, including stocking drinks and snacks
  • Support administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information
  • Multitask effectively in a high-volume environment

Work Schedule

  • Standard business hours outside of tax season
  • Tax season hours vary and will require some late nights

(Flexibility is required; this is not a clock-watcher’s role)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous receptionist or front-desk experience preferred
  • Experience in the Financial Industry
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Calm, professional demeanor under pressure
  • “Ready to help” attitude with strong customer service instincts
  • Proficiency with office tools (Outlook, calendars, Office 365, scanners, basic software)
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
