Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing excellent guest relations from the moment they arrive
- Serve breakfast items, including food presentation and plating, ensuring quality standards are met
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, and process payments efficiently with cash handling skills
- Clear tables promptly, bussing and cleaning to maintain a spotless dining area that meets food safety and sanitation standards
- Support catering or banquet setups by assisting with food service and delivery for special events or large groups
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction using phone etiquette and clear communication skills
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred; experience with breakfast or catering services is a plus
- Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and dietary accommodations to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
- Ability to operate POS systems such as Micros POS confidently; cashiering experience is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience in hotel or banquet settings enhances your ability to manage diverse guest needs effectively
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform cleaning duties efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures is essential for maintaining hygiene standards
