Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest service and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, excellent guest relations abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries efficiently using hotel management software.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while ensuring all supplies are stocked.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or concerns, providing solutions to enhance their stay.
- Operate phone systems effectively, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when communicating with guests and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.
- Prepare daily reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and any incidents that occurred during the night shift.
- Prepare breakfast service for guests each morning.
- Light cleaning duties including laundry.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality is a plus however not required.
- Background in customer service with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
