Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to provide a comfortable stay for guests.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer service.
  • Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
  • Proficient in floor care techniques and equipment usage.
  • Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices is a plus.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
