Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of hotel facilities, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks across the property, from electrical systems to plumbing, and general facilities upkeep. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for our guests and staff alike.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, including wiring, switches, outlets.
• Read schematics and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize GFBot software to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory management.
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are upheld.
• Lead or support team members in maintenance tasks while fostering a collaborative environment focused on customer service excellence.

Skills

• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals confidently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance teams effectively.
• Competency with tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
