Role Overview
The Senior Sales Associate plays a vital role in supporting daily store operations, ensuring smooth sales floor execution, and maintaining an exceptional customer experience. This role acts as the acting lead in the Store Manager’s absence and is ideal for someone eager to grow into a Store Manager role or take on more leadership responsibilities within Tomi Jewelry.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Operate Shopify POS system and manage transactions
- Oversee restocking, inventory organization, and back-of-house operations
- Fulfill in-store and online orders accurately and efficiently
Sales & Customer Experience
- Lead by example on the sales floor
- Deliver personalized, elevated customer experiences
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Support store events, activations, and pop-ups
Team Support & Leadership
- Assist in training and coaching sales associates
- Provide guidance, motivation, and constructive feedback
- Help maintain a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Maintain visual merchandising standards
- Ensure inventory accuracy and organization
- Identify operational gaps and suggest improvements to workflows
- Support metric-driven decision making and daily performance tracking
